Updates & Information
Thank you for visiting Members Health Plan NJ. As you may be aware, The Affiliated Physicians and Employers Master Trust (“APEMT“) d/b/a Members Health Plan NJ (“MHPNJ“) filed on May 24, 2021 for bankruptcy protection under Subchapter V of Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code and began the orderly wind-down of the Plan.
Immediately thereafter, APEMT/MHPNJ (the “Plan”) ceased writing new business and at the close of business on December 31, 2021, the Plan was no longer providing health and prescription benefits for Members. As reported all medical and prescription benefits have been processed for payment.

If you need to contact the Plan regarding a past due balance for outstanding health plan fees and/or your assessment that is past due, you must discuss this matter with the Plan’s legal counsel, SM Law PC. Pursuant to the order posted below, under Plan Dissolution and Liquidation Information, please note that all future communications and notices related to this liquidation will only be distributed via our Constant Contact notification system and posted to this website. Notices will no longer be mailed.
